R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for a six month contract to
furnish engine oil, transmission fluid and hydraulic oil to be used
in the City's Fleet Management Center for City vehicles and heavy
equipment; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Tri-Con, Inc. of Beaumont, Texas for engine oil at
$2 .59/gallon, transmission fluid at $0. 89/quart, and hydraulic oil
at $2 . 04/gallon is the lowest and best bid meeting specifications
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid submitted by Tri-Con, Inc. of Beaumont, Texas in the
amounts listed above be accepted for a six month contract to
furnish engine oil, transmission fluid and hydraulic oil for the
City's Fleet Management Center for use in City vehicles and heavy
equipment.
