WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing an annual contract for security
guard and event staff services; and,
WHEREAS, Delta Security, Inc. of Port Arthur, Texas submitted a bid as follows:
EVENT STAFF RATE
PER HOUR
Guard Service Supervisor $7.50
Ticket Taker Supervisor $7.15
Ticket Taker $6.75
Usher Supervisor $7.15
Usher $6.75
Door Guard (event) $6.75
WHEREAS, the bid submitted by Delta Security, Inc., would amount to a cost of
$492.20 for the average event and an estimated cost of $73,830 for the year; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Delta
Security, Inc., is the lowest and best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Delta Security, Inc., of Port Arthur, Texas on an annual
contract for furnishing security guard and event staff services be accepted by the City
of Beaumont.
