R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract for
cement stabilized sand to be used by both the Water and Street
Departments in the repair and maintenance of streets; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Construction Aggregates, Inc. of Port Arthur, Texas
in the amount of $7. 84 per ton for 1-1/2 sack and $9. 06 per ton for
2 sack cement stabilizer sand is the best bid meeting
specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid submitted by Construction Aggregates, Inc. of Port
Arthur, Texas in the amount of $7.84 per ton for 1-1/2 sack and
$9. 06 per ton for 2 sack cement stabilizer be accepted for an
annual contract for cement stabilizer sand.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
