WHEREAS, the State Department of Highways and Public
Transportation is proposing to widen Highway 105 to five lanes from
the Eastex Freeway west to Keith Road; and,
WHEREAS, the City has 5600 feet of 8" water line and 4700
feet of sanitary sewer line that will be in conflict with the
proposed improvement; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City pay for the line relocation at a estimated
construction cost of $257, 236.56 and the City Manager is hereby
authorized to execute an Escrow Agreement.
