WHEREAS, bids were received for reconstruction of various
streets throughout the City. The purpose of this project is to
provide safer, more durable streets for the convenience of the
citizens of Beaumont; and,
WHEREAS, BO-MAC Contractors, Inc. of Beaumont, Texas
submitted a bid in the amount of $846,256.30 for reconstruction of
various streets throughout the City; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by BO-MAC Contractors, Inc. is the best bid submitted
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by BO-MAC Contractors of Beaumont, Texas in
the amount of $846,256.30 for the 1990 Street Reconstruction
Project be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
