R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS bids were received for an annual contract for
litter removal and grounds maintenance in the Central Business
District (CBD) ; and,
WHEREAS, Alamo Lawn Service of Beaumont, Texas submitted
a bid in the amount of $2,300. 00 per month for maintenance of the
Downtown Area and $500. 00 per month for maintenance of the litter
receptacles to begin after installation; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Alamo Lawn Service is the lowest bid meeting
specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Alamo Lawn Service of Beaumont, Texas in
the amount of $22, 300.00 per month for maintenance of the Downtown
Area and $500.00 per month for maintenance of the litter
receptacles be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
