WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of two (2)
tractor mowers to be used by the Parks and Recreation Department;
and,
WHEREAS, Watson Distributing Company of Houston, Texas
submitted a bid in the amount of $15,978.00 for the purchase of two
Jacobsen Model C417D tractors; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Watson Distributing Company of Houston, Texas is the
lowest bid submitted and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Watson Distributing Company of Houston,
Texas in the amount of $15,978.00 be accepted by the City of
Beaumont for two Jacobsen Model C417D tractors.
