R E S O L U T I O N
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Jefferson County Drainage District No. 6 be, and it is hereby
authorized as required by Texas Water Code 56. 119 to condemn right-
of-way as necessary within the city limits of the City of Beaumont
for the Taylors Bayou Drainage and Flood Control Project and the
Upper Hillebrant Bayou Drainage Relief Project as those projects
are described by Jefferson County Drainage District No. 6. The
City specifically authorizes pending condemnation proceedings which
have been initiated but not concluded by Jefferson County Drainage
District No. 6 and in this respect would specifically consent to
and ratify the condemnation of the property described in Cause No.
61649 styled, "Jefferson County Drainage District No 6 vs H G.
Nichols, Sr. et "al" .
