WHEREAS, the City Council has discussed the facts of the claim for bodily injury
damages of Edward Fonteno in an Executive Session properly called and held; and
WHEREAS, the Council authorized the settlement of the claim for bodily injury
damages;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized to settle the claim for bodily injury
damages of Edward Fonteno in the amount of Forty-five Hundred Dollars ($4,500).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the full and final settlement of the claim for
bodily injury damages is hereby ratified. .
