R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on June 25, 1990 a bid was received for an
annual contract to purchase liquid soil stabilizer for various
street maintenance projects. This material will be purchased as
needed over the contract period of one year by the Streets and
Drainage Department; and,
WHEREAS, Base-Seal, a division of E.B.I. , Inc. of
Houston, Texas was the only company to submit a bid in the amount
of $440 per 55 gallon drum delivered; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Base-Seal of Houston, Texas is the best bid submitted
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Seal-Base, a division of E.B.I. , Inc. of
Houston, Texas in the amount of $440 per 55 gallon drum be accepted
by the City of Beaumont for approximately 25 drums of liquid soil
stabilizer.
