HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 90-121 F RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute an Amendment to Storm Sewer Easement, attached hereto as Exhibit "A," in order to correct a typographical error in the original Storm Sewer Easement dated April 13, 1964, and recorded in Vol. 1385, Page 151, Deed Records of Jefferson County, Texas. PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of �,�,� , 1990. - Mayor - f STATE OF TEXAS X COUNTY OF JEFFERSON, X AMENDMENT TO STORM SEWER EASEMENT WHEREAS, under date of April 13, 1964 Walter J. Crawford and D. P. Wheat executed a certain Storm Sewer Easement to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, recorded in Vol. 1385 , Page 151 , Deed Records of Jefferson County, Texas; and WHEREAS, the last call in the field notes applicable to the Storm Sewer Easement should have referred to Lot 6 in Block 33 rather than Lot 7 , Block 33; and WHEREAS, Longfellow Apartments, Inc. is successor-in-title to Walter J. Crawford and D. P. Wheat with respect to the land upon which such Storm Sewer Easement was granted. NOW, THEREFORE, for the purpose of correcting a typographical error, the field note description set out in the April 13 , 1964 Easement is hereby amended to read as follows: A ten-foot ( 10 ' ) wide easement being in that tract of land and referred to as Calder Place Properties and lying East of Longfellow Drive, North of Gladys Avenue, and West of Interstate Highway 10, and located in the A. Williams League, City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas; BEING a ten-foot (10 ' ) wide easement in and across said tract of land and being five (5) f eet on each side of the hereinafter described centerline; BEGINNING at the northeast corner of Lot 31 common with the southeast corner of Lot 4, in Block 33 of Calder Place Addition to the City of Beaumont, Texas; THENCE East 160.00 feet from and parallel to the South line of Lot 6 , Block 33 of said Addition, a distance of 72.33 feet to a point in the East line of said tract, which is common with the West right-of-way line of Interstate Highway 10 .
