R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the construction of a
Creative Playground for Jacobs Park, located on Jacobs and St.
Anthony Streets; and,
WHEREAS, J. R. Plake of Beaumont, Texas submitted a bid
in the amount of $30,933 . 00 for base bid plus alternates 2 and 3 ;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by J. R. Plake is the lowest and best bid submitted and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by J. R. Plake of Beaumont, Texas in the
amount of $30,933 . 00 for base bid plus alternatives 2 and 3 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont for the construction of a Creative
Playground for Jacobs Park.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
