R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract to
furnish hot mix asphaltic concrete for the Street and Drainage
Department; and,
WHEREAS, Apac-Texas, Inc. of Beaumont submitted a bid in
the amounts of $24 .90 per ton for delivered materials, and $22.40
per ton for materials received at the plant; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Apac-Texas, Inc. is the lowest bid meeting
specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Apac-Texas, Inc. be accepted by the City
of Beaumont for an annual contract to furnish hot mix asphaltic
concrete for the Street and Drainage Department.
