R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on January 16, 1990, City Council approved a
State Department of Highways and Public Transportation (SDHPT)
Commission Minute Order regarding the West Lucas Project; and,
WHEREAS, The City of Beaumont' s responsibilities for the
Lucas Street project include providing the right-of-way clear of
obstruction and free of cost to the State; and,
WHEREAS, the only right-of-way required for this project
will be within the area from the intersection of East Drive and
West Lucas to Phelan Boulevard as shown in Exhibit 112" attached
hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City of Beaumont be authorized to acquire the necessary
right-of-way as shown on Exhibit 112" attached hereto to straighten
the curve in West Lucas and to provide access to Phelan Boulevard.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont on
