WHEREAS bids were received for the purchase of a six inch
(611) diesel engine self-priming centrifugal pump for the Sanitation
Department; and,
WHEREAS, Prime Equipment Co. , of Nederland, Texas,
submitted a bid in the amount of $11, 161. 00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Prime Equipment Co. is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Prime Equipment Co. , of Nederland, Texas,
in the amount of $11, 161. 00 for the purchase of a six inch (611)
diesel engine self-priming centrifugal pump for the Sanitation
Department be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
