R E S O L U T I O N
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to negotiate
and execute an agreement with the Austin Steam Train Association
for the transfer of Southern Pacific Steam Locomotive Number 875
to the Association in consideration of the Association's proposal
to rehabilitate and preserve it as a monument to the history of
railroading in Texas.
