R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS bids were received for an annual contract to
furnish laboratory testing services for the Water Utilities/Water
Reclamation's Wastewater Industrial Pretreatment Program; and,
WHEREAS, Texas Environmental Services, Inc. of
Nederland, Texas submitted a bid for services in the following
amounts:
GC Scan - Organic Priority Pollutants $ 60. 00 each
GC/MS Scan - Toxic Pollutants $465.00 each
GC/MS Scan - Xylene $200. 00 each
Biochemical Oxygen Demand $ 10. 00 each
Chemical Oxygen Demand $ 8. 00 each
Suspended Solids $ 3. 00 each
Oil & Grease $ 7.00 each
Phenol $ 15. 00 each
Cyanide $ 15. 00 each
PH $ 1. 00 each
Metal Content $ 60. 00 each
Metals including Arsenic $ 68. 00 each
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Texas Environmental Services, Inc. is the lowest and
best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted above by Texas Environmental Services, Inc.
of Nederland, Texas be accepted by the City of Beaumont for an
annual contract to furnish laboratory testing services for the
Water Utilities/Water Reclamation's Wastewater Industrial
Pretreatment Program.
