WHEREAS bids were received for the construction of a
4,300 square foot Pre-Engineered Metal Building at the Water
Utilities Service Center, 1350 Langham Road; and,
WHEREAS, B & B Enterprise submitted a bid in the amount
of $48,880. 00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by B & B Enterprise is the lowest and best bid meeting
specifications and this bid is below the Engineer's Estimate of
$56, 000. 00 and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by B & B Enterprise be accepted by the City
of Beaumont for construction of a 4, 300 square foot Pre-Engineered
Metal Building at the Water Utilities Service Center.
