WHEREAS bids were received for an annual contract to
maintain city owned, non-utilized property; and,
WHEREAS, S. Gomez Lawn Service of Port Arthur, Texas
submitted a bid in the amount of $. 0032 per square foot for
developed property and $. 00209 per square foot for vacant property;
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by S. Gomez Lawn Service in the amount of $42, 915. 00 is
the lowest and best bid meeting specifications and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted above by S. Gomez Lawn of Port Arthur, Texas
be accepted by the City of Beaumont for an annual contract to
maintain city owned, non-utilized property.
