R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS bids were received to provide re-roofing for
that portion of the Fire Department Headquarters and Museum which
is constructed with a built-up roofing system totalling
approximately 6,500 square feet; and,
WHEREAS, Perkins Roofing Company of Beaumont, Texas
submitted a bid in the amount of $33,580. 00 for replacement of
the built-up roof referenced as "Roof All in the specifications;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted in the amount of $33,580.00 is the lowest and best bid
meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted above by Perkins Roofing Company of
Beaumont, Texas in the amount of $33,580. 00 be accepted by the City
of Beaumont for replacement of the built-up roof.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
