R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract to
furnish plumbing services for City facilities; and,
WHEREAS, the following bids were submitted:
Premium Plumbing Company (Beaumont)
Rate/Hr. - Plumber $35.50
Rate/Hr. - Helper $ 8. 00
Minimum Service Call $18 .00
Percent added to Material Cost 250
Joe Simon Plumbing & Heating (Beaumont)
Rate/Hr. - Plumber $36. 00
Rate/Hr. - Helper $ 8.00
Minimum Service Call $18. 00
Percent added to Material Cost 25%
C Enterprises, Inc. (Beaumont)
Rate/Hr. - Plumber $35. 00
Rate/Hr. - Helper $15. 00
Minimum Service Call One Hour
Percent added to Material Cost 25%
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Premium Plumbing Company is the best bid meeting
specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Premium Plumbing Company be accepted by
the City of Beaumont for an annual contract to furnish plumbing
services for City facilities.
