WHEREAS, on March 5, 1990, bids were received for the
construction of a 300, 000 gallon elevated storage tank; and,
WHEREAS, Pitt-Des Moines, Inc. of Houston, Texas
submitted a bid in the amount of $537,200. 00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Pitt-Des Moines, Inc. of Houston, Texas is the lowest
and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Pitt-Des Moines, Inc. of Houston, Texas
in the amount of $537,200. 00 for the construction of a 300, 000
gallon elevated storage tank be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
