WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing one small
rubber track hoe excavator to be used by the Sewer Maintenance
Division; and,
WHEREAS, Fountain Enterprises, Inc. , dba Universal
Tractor and Equipment of Lumberton, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount of $24,989 . 00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Fountain Enterprises, Inc. , dba Universal Tractor and
Equipment of Lumberton, Texas is the best bid meeting
specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Fountain Enterprises, Inc, dba, Universal
Tractor and Equipment of Lumberton, Texas in the amount of
$24,989 . 00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
the day of 1990.
