R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on February 26, 1990, bids were received for
the purchase of various sizes of water compression connection
fittings for the Water Utilities Department/Water Distribution
Division for water and sewer installation and repair projects being
conducted in the City of Beaumont, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, Big State Utility Supply, Inc. of Lufkin, Texas
submitted a bid in the amount of $13,457. 60 with an additional 2%
prompt payment discount; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Big State Utility Supply, Inc. of Lufkin, Texas is the
best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Big State Utility Supply, Inc. of Lufkin, Texas,
be accepted by the City of Beaumont in the amount of $13, 457. 60 .
