WHEREAS bids were received for the purchase of one 1500
gallon per minute pumper truck for the Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, Kovatch Mobile Equipment Corporation of
Nesquehoning, Pa. submitted the bid in the amount of $236, 992 .00;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted in the amount of $236,992. 00 is the best bid meeting
specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted above by Kovatch Mobile Equipment
Corporation of Nesquehoning, Pa. in the amount of $236,992 . 00 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont for the purchase of one 1500
gallon per minute pumper truck.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
