R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS bids were received for an annual contract to
furnish cement stabilized base material for the Streets and
Drainage Department; and
WHEREAS, APAC-Texas, Inc. of Beaumont, Texas
submitted the bid in the amount of $14.50/ton; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted in the amount of $14.50/ton is the best bid meeting
specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted above by APAC-Texas, Inc. in the amount of
$14 .50/ton be accepted by the City of Beaumont for an annual
contract for cement stabilized base material.
