WHEREAS, on February 19, 1990, bids were received for an
annual contract to furnish and maintain street barricades for the
Street and Drainage and Water and Sewer Department; and,
WHEREAS, D & S Sign & Supply, Inc. of Beaumont, Texas
submitted a bid in the amount of $0. 33 each per day; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by D & S Sign & Supply, Inc. is the best bid meeting
specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by D & S Sign & Supply, Inc. be accepted by
the City of Beaumont, in the amount of $0. 33 each per day for an
annual contract to furnish and maintain street barricades for the
Street and Drainage Department and the Water and Sewer Department.
