WHEREAS, on February 19, 1990 , bids were received for
park and playground improvements to Pipkin Park; and,
WHEREAS, W. B. Construction, Inc. of Beaumont submitted
a base bid in the amount of $17 ,500 plus an alternate bid in the
amount of $1, 400 for drinking fountains for a total bid price of
$18 ,900 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by W. B. Construction, Inc. of Beaumont is the best
and lowest bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by W. B. Construction, Inc. in the amount
of $18 , 900 for park and playground improvements to Pipkin Park be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
