R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on January R, 1990, bids were received for the
purchase of one (1 ) excavator for use in the Landfill ; and,
WHEREAS, South Texas Equipment Company of Houston, Texas
submitted a bid in the amount of $224,259 .00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by South Texas Equipment Company is the best bid meeting
specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by South Texas Equipment Company in the
amount of $224, 259 . 00 for the purchase of one (1 ) excavator for
use in the Landfill be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
