WHEREAS, on February 5, 1990, bids were received for an
annual contract for limestone to be used by the Street and Drainage
Department in the repair and maintenance of streets; and,
WHEREAS, T-Mix Materials Company of Beaumont, Texas,
submitted the following bid:
F.O.B. Jobsite F.O.B. Vendor' s Plant
Zone 1 $11. 80/ton $10 . 90/ton
Zone 2 $11. 60/ton
Zone 3 $11.60/ton
Zone 4 $11. 40/ton
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by T-Mix Materials Company is the lowest and best bid
meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by T-Mix Materials Company for an annual
contract for limestone in the amount stated above, be, and it is
hereby, accepted by the City of Beaumont.
