WHEREAS, on December 4, 1989, bids were received for
furnishing property damage insurance to the City of Beaumont; and,
WHEREAS, Wisenberg Insurance and Risk Management of
Houston, Texas submitted a bid in the amount of $90,844.00 per year
for fire, flood and extended coverage insurance; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Wisenberg Insurance and Risk management is the lowest
and best bid submitted and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Hartford submitted by Wisenberg Insurance and Risk
Management be accepted by the City of Beaumont in the amount of
$90, 844. 00 for furnishing property damage insurance to the City of
Beaumont.
