WHEREAS, on January 22, 1990, bids were received for the
purchase of an hydraulic rescue tool for use in the Fire
Department; and,
WHEREAS, Ferrara Firefighting Equipment, Inc. of Baton
Rouge, Louisiana submitted a bid in the amount of $13, 898. 00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Ferrara Firefighting Equipment, Inc. is the best bid
meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Ferrara Firefighting Equipment, Inc. in
the amount of $13,898 . 00 for the purchase of an hydraulic rescue
tool for use in the Fire Department be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
the day of 1990.
