R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on January 8 , 1990, bids were received for an
annual contract for unleaded gasoline, both low and mid-range
octane, and diesel fuel ; and,
WHEREAS, Darby Oil Company of Pt. Arthur, Texas
submitted the following bids:
Transport Load Tankwagon Load
Unleaded 87 octane +. 0083 +. 0283
Unleaded 89 octane +. 0083 +.0283
Diesel +.0083 +. 0283
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted above is the lowest and best bid meeting specifications
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted above by Darby Oil Company in the amounts
listed be accepted by the City of Beaumont for an annual contract
for unleaded gasoline, both low and mid-range octane, and diesel
fuel .
