WHEREAS, on December 18, 1989, bids were received for
the purchase of 14,000 feet of C-900 PVC water pipe for use by the
Water Utilities Department; and,
WHEREAS, Golden Triangle Pipe and Water Supply of
Beaumont, Texas submitted a bid in the amount of $110, 460.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Golden Triangle Pipe and Water Supply is the lowest
and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Golden Triangle Pipe and Water Supply in
the amount of $110 ,460.00 for the purchase of 1 4,000 feet of C-900
PVC water pipe for use by the Water Utilities Department be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
