R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the repair of an
automated refuse truck; and,
WHEREAS, Houston Peterbuilt, Inc. of Houston, Texas
submitted a bid in the amount of $36,887.53 plus any additional
costs for new parts, if needed; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Houston Peterbuilt, Inc. is the best and lowest bid
meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Houston Peterbuilt, Inc. in the amount
of $36 ,887.53, plus any additional costs for new parts be accepted
by the City of Beaumont.
