HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 89-256 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, bid packets were sent to all area distributors for the purchase of an Opticom Priority Control System for use in the Fire Department; and, WHEREAS, due to the distributor' s territorial boundaries, only one distributor, Consolidated Traffic Controls, Incorporated of Arlington, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount of $53,664.00; and, WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Consolidated Traffic Controls, Incorporated, being the only bid submitted, should be accepted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: THAT the bid submitted by Consolidated Traffic Controls, Incorporated in the amount of $53,664.00 for the purchase of an Opticom Priority Control System be accepted by the City of Beaumont. PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of AI&Z& 1989. Mayor -
