WHEREAS, on November 20, 1989, bids were received for the
purchase of one (1 ) landfill compactor; and,
WHEREAS, Mustang Tractor and Equipment Company of
Beaumont, Texas submitted a bid in the amount of $202,919.00
including a five (5) year or 7,500 hour warranty; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Mustang Tractor and Equipment Company is the best and
lowest bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Mustang Tractor and Equipment Company in
the amount of $202,919.00, including a five (5) year or 7,500 hour
warranty for the purchase of one (1 ) landfill compactor be accepted
by the City of Beaumont.
