WHEREAS, on October 2, 1989, bids were received for the
purchase of various sizes of water and sewer pipe for use by the
Water Utilities/Water Distribution Division; and,
WHEREAS, Coburn Supply, Inc. of Beaumont, Texas
submitted a bid in the amount of $41 ,302.24; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Coburn Supply, Inc. is the lowest and best bid
submitted and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Coburn Supply, Inc. be accepted by the
City of Beaumont in the amount of $41 ,302.24 for the purchase of
various sizes of water and sewer pipe for use by the Water
Utilities/Water Distribution Division.
