WHEREAS, the City Council has discussed the facts of the
claim of Russell Gilliam in an Executive Session properly called
and held on November 14, 1989; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement
of the claim;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized to take all
action necessary to settle the claim of Russell Gilliam in the
amount of Four Thousand Six Hundred Ten Dollars and Forty-Eight
Cents ($4,610.48) .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the full and final settlement
of this claim is hereby ratified.
PASSED BY THE `CITY CO/UNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
