R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City Council has discussed the facts of the
suit styled Enoch Charles v. City of Beaumont and Lionell Thomas
in an Executive Session properly called and held; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement
of the claim;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized to take all
action necessary to settle the suit of Enoch Charles v. City of
Beaumont and Lionell Thomas in the amount of Twenty Thousand
Dollars ( $20,000.00 ) .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the full and final settlement
of this claim is hereby ratified.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the Cite of Beaumont this
