WHEREAS, on October 2, 1989, bids were received for the purchase of traffic
signal equipment, computer and computer software for use by the Street and Drainage
Department, Traffic and Street Lighting Division; and,
WHEREAS, Naztec, Inc. of Sugar Tand, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount of
$55,019.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Naztec,
Inc. is the lowest and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Naztec, Inc. in the amount of $55,019.00 for the purchase of
traffic signal equipment, computer and computer software for use by the Street and Drainage
Department, Traffic and Street Lighting Division, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 7 day
of 1989.
