WHEREAS, on October 2, 1989, bids were received for the purchase of liquid
polymer flocculent for use by the Water Reclamation Division; and,
WHEREAS, Calgon Corporation of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, submitted a bid in
the amount of $0.118 per pound; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Calgon
Corporation is the lowest and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Calgon Corporation in the amount of $0.118 per pound of liquid
polymer flocculent for use by the Water Reclamation Division be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day
