WHEREAS, on October 9, 1939, bids were received for an -
annual contract to furnish hot mix-cold laid asphaltic concrete;
and,
WHEREAS, Bo-Mac Contractors, Inc. submitted the
following bid:
F.O.B. Vendor' s Plant $22.30/ton
Mileage from Plant to 2610 Concord 3.2
Cost to operate City-owned vehicle $ .40/mile
Total cost to the City $23 .58/ton
F.O.B. Jobsite
Zone 1 $23. 95/ton
Zone 2 23.70/ton
Zone 3 23.95/ton
Zone 4 23.70/ton
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted above is the lowest and best bid submitted and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted above in the amounts listed be accepted by
the City of Beaumont for an annual contract for hot mix-cold laid
asphaltic concrete.
