WHEREAS, on October 2, 1939, bids were received for
furnishing and installing radio equipment in a 1979 Cessna single
engine airplane; and,
WHEREAS, Lone Star Avionics, Inc. of Nederland, Texas
submitted a bid in the amount of $11 ,350. 00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Lone Star Avionics, Inc. is the lowest and best bid
submitted and should be accepted;
NOW, 'THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Lone Star Avionics, Inc. be accepted by
the City of Beaumont in the amount of $11 ,350.00 for furnishing and
installing radio equipment in a 1979 Cessna single-engine airplane.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
