WHEREAS, the City has been awarded a $149,500 grant
under Title 11-A of the Job Training Partnership Act for a
Remedial Education Literacy Training Program; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to authorize the execution of
a contract and other documents related to the grant;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute a
contract and all other documents necessary to receive the award
of a grant in the amount of $149,500 under Title 11-A of the Job
Training Partnership Act for a Remedial Education Literacy
Training Program.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
the 3 day of October 1989.
