WHEREAS, on September 18, 1989, bids were received for
the construction of a two thousand (2,000 ) square foot pre-
engineered metal building at the Sewage Treatment Plant on Lafin
Drive; and,
WHEREAS, Swain Company, Inc. submitted a bid in the
amount of $23, 131 . 00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Swain Company, Inc. is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Swain Company in the amount of $23, 131 .00
for the construction of a two thousand (2,00.0 ) square foot pre-
engineered metal building at the Sewage Treatment Plant on Lafin
Drive be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
