WHEREAS, on August 21 , 1989, bids were received for the
purchase of one (1 ) front-end loader tractor for the Parks
Department; and,
WHEREAS, Oil City Tractors, Inc. , of Beaumont, Texas,
submitted a bid in the amount of $22, 735.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Oil City Tractors, Inc. is the best and lowest bid
meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Oil City Tractors, Inc. in the amount of
$22,735.00 for the purchase of one (1 ) front-end loader tractor for
the Parks Department be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
