WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract for
grounds maintenance of Tyrrell Park; and,
WHEREAS, the following bid was submitted by J D & E
Enterprises of Port Arthur, Texas:
Tyrrell Park Grounds Maintenance - $933.22 per mowing cycle
Tyrrell Park Garden Center - $135.00 per mowing cycle
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted above is the lowest and best bid submitted and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted above in the amounts listed be accepted by
the City of Beaumont for an annual contract for grounds maintenance
of Tyrrell Park.
