RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of fifteen (15) mobile radio units
and fifteen (15) portable radio units for use by the Police Department and forty-five (45)
mobile radio units for use by the Water Utilities and Sanitation Departments; and,
WHEREAS, Bartlett Electronics of Beaumont submitted the following bid:

15 Mobile Radio Units $1,083.85 $16,257.75
(Police Department)
15 Portable Radio Units $998.27 $141974.05
(Police Department)
45 Mobile Radio Units $933.29 $41,998.05
(Water Utilities and
Sanitation Departments)
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Bartlett
Electronics is the best and lowest bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Bartlett Electronics for the purchase of 15 mobile radio units in
the amount of $16,257.75 and 15 portable radio units in the amount of $14,974.05 for use by
the Police Department and 45 mobile radio units in the amount of $41,998.05 for use by the
Water Utilities and Sanitation Departments be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
