RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of approximately thirty-five (35)
Zenith or IBM personal computer systems with various options ; and,
WHEREAS, Zenith Data Systems of Houston, Texas submitted the following bids:
Zenith Data Systems
Zenith 286 (AT-Compatible) with
external 5-1/2" floppy drive and
Monochrome monitor $2,043.00
Color monitor $2,243.00
Zenith 286 (AT-Compatible) with
internal 3-1/2" floppy drive and
Monochrome monitor $1,774.00
Color monitor $19974.00
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Zenith
Data Systems is the lowest and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Zenith Data Systems in the amounts listed above for the purchase
of approximately thirty-five (35) Zenith or IBM personal computer systems with various options
be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 29 day
